Dr. Keisha Davis-King is one of the Caribbean’s most respected voices in rheumatology and internal medicine. With over 16 years of experience and advanced training across the UK and Scotland, she leads RheumCAREtt with a simple mission: deliver clear answers, effective treatment, and compassionate care to patients living with autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions.
She currently serves as the Head of Rheumatology at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex (EWMSC) and is an Associate Lecturer at the University of the West Indies (UWI), Trinidad, where she trains future physicians in clinical medicine and rheumatology.
HER TRAINING
Dr. Davis-King earned her MBBS (Honours) from the University of the West Indies, Trinidad, and completed her Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP UK). She then specialized in Rheumatology through a fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh, training at the University Hospital Ayr in Scotland.
She also holds certification in musculoskeletal ultrasonography from Glasgow Caledonian University, giving her additional diagnostic precision in clinical settings.
In addition to her medical credentials, Dr. Davis-King completed an MBA in Healthcare Management with Distinction, equipping her with the administrative and strategic insight to lead within both public and private health systems.
HER IMPACT
From 2021 to 2024, Dr. Davis-King served as President of the Caribbean Association for Rheumatology (CAR) — where she championed regional efforts to improve patient outcomes, raise public awareness, and expand access to specialty care across the Caribbean.
